Hyde United Vs Hollingworth (4-0)

Great performance AND result today! Hollingworth were decent but we stood together, worked hard and played some great footy along the way. ??

We started on the front foot forcing an early corner and from that the ball found its way to Freddie who bent it into the top corner. Great start and the lads kept battling for each other and working as a team. Elliot won a free kick down the left with the angle favouring a right footer, Cameron took it and hammered into the top corner for a second. Robbie kept the ball out brilliantly during a goal mouth scramble just before half time to keep the clean sheet and 2 goal lead in tact. ??

Half time we discussed that the job was not done and we had to stick together, work hard and keep the ball moving as when we passed it around we were always creating chances. ????

We started a little slow but once we hit our groove we were bossing the game. Henry added our third hitting a ball into the box that both Tommy and the GK missed before dropping in. Two minutes later Tommy got the 4th and put the game to bed with a good finish after being played in. We could have added more goals but pleasingly stayed strong and kept a much deserved clean sheet. ??

A real team performance and I was really happy with the team spirit on display, they all supported and worked for each other which is what we need every week. ??

The captains player was Robbie, (good decision Henry), some cracking saves and bravery on show and also impressed with him coming off his line to help with the longer ball over the top. ??

The managers player was Tommy. All energy display today and intelligent with getting the ball from short corners etc. deserved his goal and on another day would have had a hat trick. ??
