The substitutes for Town included Magnus Christensen, Will Stewart and Stefan Maresi, who were poised to make an impact from the bench if called upon.
The match began with both sides testing each other's defences, but it was Huntingdon Town who had the first real opportunity.
In the eighth minute, Sam Godfrey unleashed a shot that was saved by the Whittlesey goalkeeper, signalling Huntingdon's intent.
Just four minutes later, Jack Edwards followed suit with another attempt, but his effort was also thwarted.
Huntingdon Town's persistence paid off in the 13th minute when Roman Lawrence Alexander found the back of the net with a well-placed header from a corner delivered by Jack Edwards.
The goal ignited celebrations among the home supporters, as Huntingdon took a deserved lead.
However, Whittlesey Junior U12 Black responded swiftly, equalising in the 24th minute with a fluke of a goal after a clearance fell to a Whittlesey player who hit home to make it 1-1.
This unexpected turn of events shifted the momentum, leaving the match finely balanced as both teams headed into half-time at 1-1.
The second half saw tactical changes from Huntingdon Town, with Will Stewart coming on for Jacob Wyatt after the restart.
The introduction of Stewart aimed to bolster the midfield and provide fresh legs.
Later, Stefan Maresi replaced George Smith in the 37th minute, as Huntingdon sought to regain control of the match.
As the game progressed, Sam Godfrey returned to the pitch, replacing Will Stewart in the 50th minute, while Jacob Wyatt re-entered the fray.
These substitutions were tactical moves intended to inject energy into the team as they pushed for a winning goal.
Despite several attempts to break the deadlock, including a saved shot from Jack Edwards in the 53rd minute and another effort that went wide just a minute later, Huntingdon Town could not find a way past the resilient Whittlesey keeper.
The match concluded with both teams sharing the points, leaving the u12 Whites and Whittlesey to reflect on a hard-fought encounter.
Town were unlucky not to find a winner in the dying minutes.
Despite coming on as a sub the performance from Magnus when he did come on was good enough to win him MOTM today.
