The Lawns were robbed of the spoils in an entertaining game, let down by abysmal officiating. With a few changes from the previous week, The Lawns were looking to continue their run of good performances and get the results their efforts deserved. However, within the first minute, they were 1-0 down after the PTP striker snuck in. The Lawns kept going, but soon found themselves at 2-0. The Lawns realized they were against the wall, and went back up the other end with Chris G playing Jack through who stroked it past the keeper to make it 2-1. Then began a spell of sustained pressure form the Lawns who promptly robbed of 2 goals. Firstly, after having players bundled over in the box and the defender handling it twice, the ref gave it to PTP, and then when Chris G followed up after a fine Jack run, again the goal was disallowed with no apparent reason given and Jack being booked for dissent. Disgruntled, The Lawns started the second half with a bang, and equalized with an end to end move. Joe R pulled off a fantastic save, which then to the ball being played through to Jack, whose initial effort was tipped onto the post by the PTP keeper, but Chris G was there to fire in with his left foot. Lawns kept going and beating the defence, but the bobbly pitch stopped Jack from adding to his tally. Lawns kept going but soon undone, with PTP scoring from 2 corners. One being a bullet header from their centre back, the other being a miscommunication which lead to Gav turning the ball in. Lawns kept going but ended in an undeserved 4-2 defeat.
