With only one enforced change from last week with Neil making his debut at the back, in place of Joe R, The Lawns started brightly and we're rewarded with a goal after 2 mins, when Craig continued his hot streak with a deflected effort. The lawns continued to press and Craig got his second with a well taken finish. Going in 2-0 at the break, the Lawns started a little slowly in the second half with several subs made, but continued to work hard and we're duly rewarded when Ben Greenough, followed up Jack's saved effort to get the third. Despite conceding a third, Newmarket came close with Lewis heading off the line minutes later. But Hove continued and Ben Groucutt tucked in a fourth after a run down the left.
Team: Rich, Calum, Lewis(c),Neil, Joe JM, Chris G, Matt P, Greenough, Cocky, Ben G, Craig
Subs who came on: Jack, Josh, Kiall, O'Malley, Dan
Goals: Craig X2, Greenough, Felicity
Man of the Match: Craig - With 2 goals and an assist, a deserved man of the match.
Managers thoughts: Everyone played superbly and put a shift in, and I was thoroughly impressed with the effort shown.
