The Lawns again fought valiantly but came out on the losing end again against El Rechaza.
Starting the first half brightly, The Lawns were organised and kept their shape, and pressured Rechaza on the break. Rechaza did create the odd chance but were wasteful in their efforts. Lawns capitalized when a great ball was sent into the box by Chris G where it was headed back into the path of Jack who tucked away his 17th league goal. Lawns had more chances towards the end including Jack attempting to lob the keeper and a 3 on 2 breakaway which just fell short at the final ball.
Going in 1-0 up at the break and in good spirits,The Lawns were soon under the cosh, as Rechaza piled forward in search of an equalizer. Calum cleared two efforts off the line with his head as the pressure mounted, and Rechaza were eventually rewarded with a well worked move to equalize. A second soon follwed when an unfortunate deflection lead to Rechaza going ahead. Lawns kept pushing but couldn't create anything further and it finished 2-1.
