<p>The team talk was all about keeping our feet on the ground after a couple of good results. Starting once again with a 4-4-2 formation the dynamic duo of Jack Pounder and James Connor linked up well again with Pounder scoring a brace on eight and ten minutes assisted by Connor. Two soon became a hat trick for Pounder on 20 minutes following great build up play assisted by Scott Davidson. Seaham got a goal back on the half hour and straight from the kick off it was Jacks' turn to provide for Connor on 32 minutes. Half time 1-4
<p>Pounder,on fire set up a brace, this time for Robert Taylor to get two on 63 and 67 minutes. Jack got his 4th on 76 minutes heading home from a Michael Heckles cross. Hordens' eighth once again involved Pounder whose lay off to Charlie Salicki was smashed home from all of 18 yards to end the rout on 80 minutes. Seaham did get a second goal midway through the second half but were well and truly Poundered into submission from the first whistle.

<p style="margin: 6px 0px; color: #1d2129; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">After last Sunday's excellent County Cup win Horden travelled to Murton to take on Seaham the George and it was Horden who progressed to the semi final. After a lot of rain surprisingly the pitch was in very good condition and it was Horden who started off on the front foot and were rewarded when Jack Pounder opened the scoring from a James Connor cross not long after Pounder got his and Hordens 2nd then Pounder completed an excellent hat trick. With Horden relaxing with the lead Seaham got a goal back. Again Horden upped their game and this time Pounder was provider when he crossed for Connor to score. HT 1-4.
<p style="margin: 6px 0px; color: #1d2129; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">The second half started much the same with Horden on the front foot and scored 4 more Pounder with his 4th, Robert Renwick got two very good goals and then in between these goals Seaham got another. Horden completed the scoring when Charlie Salicki hit an unstoppable left foot drive past the keeper into the top corner of the net. FT 2-8.
