Hoole got back to winning ways in the League following a 6-1 win over Anchorsleholm on Saturday just gone.

With a typical Hoole start, the firsts went 1-0 down when some poor defending resulted in a ball over the box of which the opposition sloted to open the scoring.

With some good pressure applied, Martin made a great save to prevent further conceding but then Hoole began to grow into the game when Sam Bamber stated to take control of the midfield and Hoole started to pile on the pressure. Kirby was unlucky with a great strike hitting the post.

Hoole equalised when Sam won the ball on right wing, crossing for Kelly to slot home the equaliser at back post on 28 mins.

Luke & Taylor were a constant threat & we had several chances to take the lead before half time. A request from Liam to up keep up the tempo & be patient was listened to & the chances came thick & fast. Hoole finally broke them on 53 mins after Luke broke free, was fouled by the keeper & penalty awarded. Taylor slotted home calmly.

Anchorsholme had some chances in next 10 mins & hit the post themselves. However the game turned on 67 mins when Luke chased down their defender, won the ball & rounded keeper to score.

Tuggy was introduced on 68 mins for Kirby who had a good game. Some great interplay involving tuggy,

3-1 became 4 when Taylor, Roy & luke combined on 70 mins & Luke scored again to make it 4-1.

5th goal game on 73 mins with Taylor getting his second

Sam also came close with a rasping 25 yard drive just over the crossbar. The game was tied up on 85 mins with more quick passing & Taylor sealing his hat trick.

Manager said after the game "I promised I wouldn't mention his horrendous miss when Luke put it on a plate for him. Some real positives in the game & a deserved scoreline."

Man of match Luke, a constant threat.
