vs Frimley Green Meteors
Home league match

It was a blustery morning at Mayhill as the Tigers faced Frimley Green Meteors for the second week in a row. Parents had warned players against complacency following last weeks result and everyone was keen to show that they were able to maintain performance at the level that we all know is achieveable.

The pitch was heavy and the opposition had only 7 men due to late illness which gave us the advantage of being able to rotate players as the mud and the wind took its toll.

The boys all had another excellent performance and showed the skills that they have developed under the guidance of their manager, pressing hard, passing accurately and getting back to defend when required.

All players contributed to another great team performance by pushing forward with the ball, closing the opposition down, finding a pass at the right time and ultimately creating lots of good opportunities to score.

A clean sheet once again from both goalkeepers.

MoM went to SG for a sterling defensive performance and helping to create many attacking moves.

The Coach said Top Communicator was a tough choice as he was able to hear everyone calling through the game (well done boys!) - in the end it was awarded to DS.

Thanks once again to Nat and his father for their support during the managers absence.

Win, lose or draw - Tigers Roar!
