Derby Day Delight !!!!

<p>Wow what a stunning performance by each and everyone of the 16 lads who turned out today.<br /> We can't praise them enough for the grit and determination they showed today.<br /> First half the team dominated and coming in at 2-0 really flattered the Hawks with great finishes from Wes and Adam H.<br /> The work ethic that was shown was tremendous and 6 or 7 goals would have been more of a justification.<br /> The second half was probably more of an even contest but the team still had the edge to bag a few more goals late on(Wes and Adam H).<br /> On the whole the back four were solid all the way through, the midfield worked tirelessly and the forwards did what was asked of them. All substitutes played their part as we rotated as players got injured.<br /> One sloppy free kick gave the Hawks their goal from a free kick but the team really didn't give away too many clear cut chances.<br /> 2 yellow cards gained for mistimed tackles but that's what giving it 100% does so no complaints at all.<br /> Well done lads...you carried on from last week where we just made too many mistakes and got punished....this week hardly any errors and 4 great finishes.<br /> First 3 points on the board for the team...let's hope there is many more too come !!!<br /> Thanks to all the support today and hope you all enjoyed the game as much as we did !!!<br /> Hope the young lad who got injured on the Hawks team makes a speedy recovery and fingers crossed its nothing too serious.
