HEDDON GIVEN HEXHAM HAMMERING

<p>Nothing much to say apart from an absolute horror show of a performance. &nbsp;Everything that could go wrong did go wrong.<p> Hexham scored some excellent goals, however we contributed to our own downfall. &nbsp;Markers not being tracked, opposition players not being pressurised, surrendering of possession over and over again, aimless balls over the top/at Dan Walker’s face, no creativity, no defending as a unit… you name it, it happened!This is a result that has been coming for weeks, and against a quality opposition we were made to pay for our profligacy.<p> Only positives to take out of today:&nbsp;<p>&nbsp;- We are not playing well, but let’s not lose sight of the fact that we are a very good team.<p>- We had a lot of players missing and many of those starting are playing with injuries and not match fit.<p>- Tom Apedaile not putting a foot wrong when slotting into centre half after coming on.<p>- Everyone after the game disappointed and honest about the performance, and ready to put it right next week against Hearts.<p>Ratings compiled by Phil Edmondson
