A Tough Test

Really pleased with the battle the girls put up today against a very well drilled Bourneville side , going a goal down early on the girls defended really well to keep us 1 down at the break , 2nd half and wind behind us we started to pile pressure on in search of an equaliser , Millie coming close and Luna having the ball in the net only to be pulled back for an earlier handball. With 57 mins on the clock Bourneville broke on the counter attack to add a 2nd with a 3rd added on the whistle.

Some great moments throughout Sapphire covering at sweeper for an injured Imogen looked really promising , and Connie putting in a massive shift again in Midfield.

Girl of the Game today went to a very impressive Kayla in goals , she was fantastic today with both her kicks and her alertness coming off her line ??

I explained to the girls at the end that although they were disappointed at the 3 nil scoreline they were in the game for the full match and could easily have got a result from it , in tier 2 we are going to come across good teams, today was a fine example and we took them right to the end
