<p>After travel difficulties holding up the KO Hangleton showed that they weren't fazed by the delay & started as they meant to go on. A line-up packing the midfield allowing Savin to roam free had the other team all in bits as they couldn't keep up with him, first hacking him down for him to score the resulting free-kick, then latching on to a through pass to round the keeper an slot home. Hangleton were cruising & went 3-0 up after the break with another free-kick from Ryan Darlington. Broadwater started to get increasingly frustrated especially with the forward & wayward tackles went in. But what followed was horrendous... the racial abuse hurled at some of the Hangleton players marred the fact that Broadwater got themselves back in it with two goals. Nevertheless Hangleton showed their team spirit & professionalism by seeing the game out & avoiding the after game antics of the other team players which can only be described as savage. Glen Phillips gets MOM here as he showed great athleticism to thwart Broadwater on numerous occasions & keep Hangleton focused on the win.
