vs Old Inn

Home cup match

Old Inn did the honour of fielding there strongest team this season, and boy what a team they now have. Gave us our toughest game to date. The game did`nt start as planned as a rare mistake from David Hardie led to Old Inn scoring in the first minute. But we love a comeback ! Liam Cooksley grabbing a equalizer after 4 minutes after the impressive Smudger set up 1 of 3 assists to win this game.

28 minutes and Old Inn on the attack chip the ball in for Mike Kierley heads it across for Damian Polczynski to twist and turn his body to connect a brilliant header into the Hamilton top corner 1v2.

Hamilton`s reaction was brilliant - straight back down the other end for Smudger to break the offside trap and a brilliant ball from the Captain on the day Ryan Hassle 2v2

We lost Mark KMita through injury {Hamstring} midway through the 1st half, replaced by Luke { freekick specialist} Green. Andrius Miliskevicious also succumbed to a injury after being bizarrely kicked off the ball, replaced by powerhouse Jamie Fleet.

2nd Half begins and on 48 mins Luke Green after being assisted by Smudger heads the ball in 3v2.

To be fair Old Inn put us under seige for the next 10 minutes but the lads stood strong and during a period of 4 yellow cards {3 Old Inn + 1 For Ryan Hassle} Luke Green pops up to sneak a goal in the bottom corner after Smudger pretended to shoot to assist Greener. 4v2.

Tom Winter picked up a yellow for despicable language after being ruled offside when clean through on goal.

Motm- Sergio Rodriguez - caused all sorts of problems throughout.

Brilliant today - Tough game and real good resilience shown - The team is really beginning to bond.

Bring on next week for the County Cup
