It was good to get back to League business today, after a gap of 6 weeks with only a couple of cup matches, with a game against Salvesen Blues.
Unusually for us we started very quickly with a Cameron Johnston powerfully headed goal from Drew’s corner after only a minute.
Towards the end of the first half Tobie added to the lead when showing great composure to take the ball around goalkeeper following close control and slot the ball into the net.
This goal was probably against the run of play as Salvesen had been showing signs of coming back into the game and it was no surprise when Salvesen got a goal back with virtually the last play of the first half.

The boys responded well to our request to pressure the Salvesen play in the second half and Cameron Johnston got his second and the teams third when taking Tobies through pass and calmly finishing past the keeper.
This ended the goals for the match but not the chances with both goalkeepers continuing to pull off some great saves throughout, with Mark getting the opportunity to play a full 80 mins this week.
A solid performance and important league win from the the boys. We look forward to next week and another league game.
