*Match Report*
The build up to Gringos next game was tarnished by Off field antics. The eccentric Tedabayor once again at the forefront. After learning he had been dropped the Gringos #9 spat his dummy out and shown some very unsporting behaviour. With the formidable duo of Legs (International Duty) and Leebo (Loyalty Issues) missing from the squad, there was space for three Gringos Legends to return in Dan Kearley, Zack Drew and Alex Press. Mitch, Carlos, JT and Kane also in the squad.
Gringos Kicked off against a lively and youthful IGFC. IGFC started strongly forcing Keeper for the day Roberto Carlos into a couple of smart saves. After seeing the opposition continually do their best Tom Daley impressions it was unfortunately a Gringo player that sustained an injury after an actual foul. Alex Press landing awkwardly and early reports from the medical team suggest a dislocated collar bone. All at Gringos would like to wish him a speedy recovery. Gringos did have their own flashes of quality, Dan Kearley showing what the Gringos had been missing with some hallmark spaghetti runs, Hitting the post and dragging a few shots wide. Zack Drew putting in a warriors performance at the back keeping the little cunts at bay. Half time came with the score still at 0-0.
The second half kicked off and the two teams were going blow for blow looking for that knockout. Dan and Mitch both having good chances to take the lead. For all the good football being played by both sides it was sadly overshadowed by ICFC's persistent need to hit the deck after every challenge. With that useless cunt Jeff giving them a free kick every time aswell as quick nosh off from the peedo. The game looked destined to finish goalless unless for some magic or a mistake. Unfortunately for the Gringos it was a mistake from Kane which led to ICFC taking the lead. A Gringo kick in was played straight to a lad in confusing grey top that looked strikingly similar to Wagwaans grubby unwashed kit. The ICFC player had the pace to work his way towards goal before slotting home past Roberto Carlos who had fought valiantly for g is Clean Sheet. There was no time for a reply and that's how the game ended. For as bad as the ref was and the frustration of little boys dropping like flies it was ultimately Gringos not taking their chances that cost them the game. We go again.
