Away league match

In a commanding display of football, Greenfield Youth FC U15 Panthers triumphed over Bournemouth Electric Youth U15 with a resounding scoreline of 5-1 in their league encounter on 16 February 2025. The match took place at Pitch 4, BU Sports Campus, Chapel Gate, with kick-off at 2:00 pm, and was officiated by referee Allen Makuni.

The Panthers lined up in a 4-2-1-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for fluid attacking movements. Sonics Keeper took his place between the posts, shielded by a back four comprising Aaron Scullion on the right, Ludovico Laleye and George Adlem in central defence, and Brian Goga Jashari on the left. The midfield duo of Igor and Noah Iglewski operated centrally, tasked with both breaking up opposition play and facilitating attacks. Ahead of them, Josh Akpagbula played as an attacking midfielder, with Thomas Hunt and Jamie Gray flanking striker Jamie Moore, who was the focal point of the attack.

The substitutes for the match included Olly Ray, who would later make an impact in the second half.

The first half saw Greenfield Youth FC controlling possession and creating several chances, but they were unable to find the back of the net before the break. The breakthrough finally came shortly after half-time when Igor, who had been instrumental in midfield, scored a well-placed shot inside the box, assisted by Noah Iglewski in the 52nd minute.

Just five minutes later, Bournemouth Electric Youth suffered a setback as one of their defenders inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, extending the Panthers' lead to 3-0 in the 57th minute. The Panthers were in full flow, and Josh Akpagbula was quick to capitalise on the momentum, scoring two headers in quick succession, first in the 61st minute and then again in the 68th, both assisted by the ever-influential Noah Iglewski.

Bournemouth Electric Youth managed to pull one back in the 74th minute, converting a penalty awarded for a foul in the box, but the goal did little to dampen the spirits of the Panthers. Thomas Hunt rounded off the scoring in the 77th minute, tapping in from close range after a well-placed assist from Josh Akpagbula, sealing a comprehensive victory for Greenfield Youth FC.

The match concluded with a final score of 5-1, showcasing the Panthers' attacking prowess and solid defensive organisation, leaving them in high spirits as they look ahead to their next challenge.
