Match Report - VECTIS U14 S WHITE - 10 Dec 2023

An anxious wait to see if the game would be played we were the only pitch on at King George as they had to travel from the Isle of Wight . After the groundsman had said it was good to play the boys took total control of the game in the first half. Benno touching the ball very few times and us putting 8 goals past the Vectis keeper. Second half the pitch was a swamp and the ball was not travelling with boys slipping and sliding everywhere. 2 more goals were added and into the next round we go. Goal scorers today were Jamie Moore with 6,Will with 2, Emilio and Barney with 1 apiece.

The goals we scored were all very good team goals getting in behind their back line and making good decisions when there.

Man of the match goes to Jamie for his 6 goals but some really good performances as well especially first half. Dom had a cracking game and Jamie G's deliveries from corners were fantastic.
