Playing the third Southampton based team in the cup on paper this was and should of been the easiest game of them all. The cup can be very different though and despite there status in the league Testlands gave it a go today.

We could of got off to the perfect start when after 30 seconds we had a clear chance to score only for a very happy flagging linesman to give offside.

The boys continued to get into good areas but were kept out by a brilliant display from their keeper dubious lino calls or a poor finish.

Testlands disrupted our play and the boys passing was sloppy at times but they continued to create opportunities.

Elisha open the scoring after a cut back from Benji was the only goal of the first half. We also missed a pen after Will had been brought done and it looked like it was going to be one of those days.

Testlands managed a couple of chances with the ball over the top and a few silly freekicks given away in dangerous areas.

Second half we dominated territory and possession but kept trying to do the hard pass or extra touch which gave them a chance to stop the attack. Second half goals from Noah with a rocket into the top corner and Will who was rewarded with his persistence for Elisha through ball.

Overall we had 4 goals disallowed from their lino calls which had to be the worst decisions I have seen in a long time.

Overall a good result but we must put away our chances if we are to progress Into the semi finals

MoM today with a solid performance in midfield was Nayan.
