So we went into the last game of the season knowing that a win would secure 2nd and maybe still have a chance for the title against Highcliffe who were in the same position.
Highcliffe thrive off mistakes and unfortunately over the last few games these mistakes have cost us. Today was no exception and we found ourselves down 1-0 in the first minute as we gave a needless corner away and and own goal was scored. Highcliffe were on the up and our heads were down early doors.
Not many games this season have we struggled so much throughout the whole game, and Highcliffe deservedly won.
We were 2-0 down before half time again just switching off at the wrong time.
Second half was better but we're caught on a counter attack making it 3-0.
Noah managed to score from the spot to give us some life but we never really tested the Highcliffe keeper again.
MoM went to Luke who came on and put a really good performance in.
After such a great season where we have finished 3rd in the League, quarterfinals of the Hampshire cup and won the League Cup.
Proud of the all and thanks again for the support of parents who the boys gave a nice clap to at the end of the game.
