While I write this I am still buzzing.
What a great day for the Panthers after a few near misses the boys certainly deserved their victory today.
After a quick warm up we were summoned to go into the changing rooms so the boys could walk out into the pitch together. It was quiet until the very end and the boys roared as they came out onro the pitch.
A dominant display from start to finish where I think Benno had only 1 save to make which he did really well to come out and smother.
We played it around much better and we're getting into good areas with Noah hitting the crossbar from a pinpoint cross from Jamie. Noah also had a goal ruled out for offside.
Our first goal came from a great run from Will who was clipped in the box and Elisha stepped up and dispatched the penalty.
The frustration on the Highcliffe players was starting to show with their dangerous striker being marshalled superbly by the whole of the back 4. Emilio, Nick, Finn and Jamie .
Second half opened up slightly more and Jangles nearly scored with his first touch shooting inches wide.
Our second goal came from good work by Jangles with Noah finishing first time.
Elisha scored a header that was ruled off for offside, keeping the game very tense.
The game boiled over slightly with their striker been asked to be subbed by the ref and the Highcliffe keeper being sent off for kicking out at Elisha.
Really pleased as the boys kept their discipline and saw out the game comfortably.
Some great displays today from all the boys and I will mention them all as some go under the radar but always put in a performance. Dom, Olly and Kian dominated the middle of the park. Also the hardest decision of all was to leave some boys on the bench. Luke, Nayan, Benji and Josh.
They are all a part of the squad and have played an important part in getting to the final.
Massive thanks to the parents who were a great support today and hopefully enjoying their evening.

We now go and try to chase down the Pumas for the League title.
