A very tricky test today against Bournemouth Electric on a tuesday night. We slightly changed tactics again with the boys having to adjust to a few tweaks. They started well and we're getting down the flanks and created some early chances. Electric were also dangerous on the attack and gave us a few problems with balls over the top without testing Benno to much. Our first goal was route 1 with Elisha feeding Noah in after a goal kick which he finished well.
Electric then swung in a free kick which nobody claimed and left there good number 14 a free shot past Benno. The boys played some nice football in small parts but couldn't maintain the momentum for long enough to be a real threat.
Elisha scored he first from great work from Benji to go into half time with the lead
Second half we changed formation again with players in a few more familiar roles and it worked with Elisha scoring his 2nd and third, a great solo effort and the other a flick on from Noah finished well. Jangles then scored a great goal overlapping Benji and smashing it past the keeper.
Elisha made it 6 and his 4th with a finish from Luke's pass.
Second half display was much better and a deserved win but again we missed lots of chances to score more and need to be slightly calmer in front of goal.
Really good displays from Elisha with his 4 goals. Jangles at right back played well and so did Kian who had a great game.
Mom however goes to Benji who set up two and worked really hard when out of possession to win the ball back.
