Away cup match
After big wins on saturday for both teams this match looked to be a cracker on paper but only one team turned up and that was Camelon. The home side got off to a flying start after their striker and ex Grahamston player capitalised on some defensive mistakes by Grahamston and slotted it past Rowan at the near post. Grahamston huffed and puffed but didn't make any inroads and the the scores stayed the same until the break.
The second half started well for the away side but a mad 15 minute spell had Camelon out of sight as they raced into a 4-0 lead which included a penalty and a contender for most strange goal of the season. Camelon floated in a free kick, the ref blew for off-side and the players stopped, the ball floats into the goal and the ref then awards the goal. Grahamston did pill a consolation goal back through Warren after great play by Ciaran but it was all too little too late. With the match in the final minute Warren found himself getting his marching orders after a petulant kick out at an opponent right in front of the referee who produced the red card.
A deserved victory for Camelon who wanted it more on the night and Grahmston will now need to pick themselves up for the next match at home to Milan FC on saturday.
