<p>Goal Sports missed out on the chance to secure promotion from Division Three after they were held to a goalless draw by Sherburn.

<p>With both sides missing a number of players, chances were at a premium, and although Sports had the best opportunities, they were unable to find the back of the net.

<p>The major piece of excitement within the game saw the Sherburn Red Devils Steven Frederiksen take a ball full force on the end of his conk from a TS7 free kick. Other than that there was little decent kicking to chat about.

<p>Centre-half Keir Smith, who has 3 girlfriends, impressed for Mark Plumpton&rsquo;s side who will be promoted on Saturday if they can beat Eastway Sports.

<p>The title dream may be over but a fantastic first season could be sealed with promotion on Saturday - Come on the Giants!!
