Crusaders 1-2 Glentoran

<p>Back up to Crumlin on Saturday to face the league leaders Crusaders. It was a cold morning but the Glens were on fire right from the kick off and dominated the play even with the wind slightly against them. It only took 4 minutes for the first goal which came from Callum Dorman after great work down the right side and a final pass from Kyle. The Glens continued to dominate and 3 minutes later seen Ross get the second from a great corner from young 2001 star Cricky Conn. The score remained 2-0 when the half time whistle went but it should have been more had it not been for the Crusaders keeper. The Glens dominated the play and probably played some of the best football this season. The second half was a bit different as Crusaders started to beleive in themselves and took the game to the Glens. We still continued to dominate and created chances but just couldn't score. Jojo hit the crossbar which would have killed the game and we came close on a few occassions from a few players, the pick coming from CBM who nearly sored from 35 yards out after seeing the keeper off his line. Crusaders got a goal back with 5 minutes left but it was too late as the defence held strong and the team got a well deserved win. It was great to see the ball being kept on the deck and some great play from the defence with playing the ball out from Ryan. MOM was Callum after a great defensive display.
