Bangor FC 0-6 Glentoran

<p>Saturday seen our 2nd attempt at getting our Cup tie played against Bangor, this time it was on 3G at Aurora. Right from the start the Glens took control of the match and after 6 minutes Kai got the first goal. It was a match that all Bangor could hope for was to defend and try to get something on the counter attack which they tried but the defence held strong. The 2nd goal came on the 22nd minute from Ross and Josh got the 3rd on the stroke of half time. Josh opened the scoring in the second half with his second and was follwed 4 monutes later with a goal from Caolan Boyd Munce. To finish the goals off Callum Dorman grabbed the 6th with a great strike over the keepers head. Once we got the 1st goal we were never going to lose it but credit to the squad for playing football the whole way through and not seeing who could score the most. There was some great individual performances all over the pitch but the MOM goes to Caolan McBrearty who defended well and was involved in everything. Next up the Blues!
