Sabanoh 97 4 vs 2 G&S Rovers FC

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Rovers went in to their 2nd league match looking to build on the 2nd half performance against Brandon.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">It did not start well as after only 6 mins Jay was subbed due to head injury and taken off to hospital for stitches.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The Blues had a very strong first 20 minutes and dominated the game with good closing, but had a couple of chances&nbsp;that should have been&nbsp;taken!

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">On 25 mins G&S were&nbsp;punished for not taking advantage of that possession. A free kick was&nbsp;given away on edge of box and the Reds curled it&nbsp;into to top corner! 1-0.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The game was fairly even until on 42 mins an inswinging&nbsp;corner was&nbsp;not dealt with properly & was&nbsp;headed home for 2-0.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The ref was being overly fussy, but on 44 mins Sabanoh were down to 10 men for a second yellow card, but lasted until half time.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">G&S started the 2nd half as they did the first and pulled a much deserved goal back on 50 mins. Chris' throw on&nbsp;found Deji who chested it down, turned and blasted home for 2-1.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">62 mins were on the clock when Rovers gave away a sloppy goal.&nbsp; Again a foul that did not need to happen gave them a chance to swing the ball&nbsp;in to the&nbsp;box and poke home from close range for 3-1.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">With 15 mins left however G&S had not given up and Rich managed to slip Deji through on goal, for the 'goal master'&nbsp;to calmly round the keeper for 3-2 and it was game on!

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">With very little time left on the clock some&nbsp;very sloppy defending led to the Sabanoh man being one on one with Deano and that was 4-2.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Even more disappointment in the dying seconds as, despite a previous yellow card, Russell stupidly decided to handle from&nbsp;a corner from Rich towards&nbsp;goal and was sent off.&nbsp; This added to tooo many other bookings, so a lot to learn from this match!
