Eagles showed some Inspiring play against Inspire FC

Todays Report written by James Taylor aged 13 1/2

Eagles started the game well pressing Inspire which lead to an early chance for Josh, who along side with Dom kept battling against inspires defence.

We then started to get put under a lot of pressure but Lewis and both Ollie M and Oli H kept their cool. Working excellently through out the whole game.

Harry M, Jacob and Joe kept the passing flowing making Inspire work hard to get the ball.

Then we took the lead from a fantastic throw from Lewis who assisted Rian for the first Goal of the Game.

We started to created some chances one of which Charlie was very unlucky not to get on the end, of following the whole team pressuring Inspire into little mistakes.

Inspire then got one back to make it 1-1 due to the team not closing them down.

Sabby then went on to make some good saves, from one of which Flitwick scored an excellent counter attack goal which started from a great run from Dom who made perfect pass to Rian who delivered an excellent cross for Ollie M finish in style.

2nd Half

Dom continued to press early on in the second half winning most of his duels and if he didn't he would win a free kick.

Inspire took the lead 2-1 after Flitwick not being able to clear their lines.

Sabby coming out and making some critical clearance. The post was on Sabby's side helping him make a save.

Eagles then dropped of for ten minutes enabling Inspire time and space to get a few shots which lead to them taking the lead.

Towards the end Rhys, Rian, Ollie M and Dom put some great passes together and were unlucky not to get anything more out of it.

MOM Harry S for never giving up, getting forward as well as tracking back and putting some great passes together.
