Eagles hold back the River

Eagles storm back to winning ways, building a dam to dry up the Riverfield Reds

With the sun shining Eagles went 1-0 up in the first half and with no doubt finishing the Riverfield Reds in the second half adding 3 more goals.

What a defence today they where superb making sure any chances on goal lead to nothing.

Midfiled held the ball up supplying some fine balls to the attackers, battleing every ball and winning back any loose balls.

Today the attack stood out tacking shots on goal, some saved some blocked but 4 goals ensured the win.

James worked his distribution well today and made some fine clearances from back passes and thanks to a strong defence was never really tested to see if his gloves where sticky.

Rhys, Rafe, Rian, and Lewis again a strong wall working extremely well with Max M, Max C, Xander, Jacob and Jack with some mighty fine passing and strong battles. Providing some nice worked crosses into the box.

Harry, Joe and Tobin constantly applying pressure on Riverfields defence.

Tobin`s silky smooth (Clives input) footwork had riverfield all out of shape, Xander and Joe working well together.

Riverfields keeper gave away penalty by taking Harry out and completly missing the ball, unfortunatly couldnt be converted to goal

A Hatrick from Tobin and a nicely worked goal from Joe saw the River all dried up taking a 4-0 win

Eagles played Riverfield out of park today.

All players where outstanding today on the pitch and off the pitch.
