Cup semi final match report

Eagles put In an extremely first class show today and more importantly a very respectful performance

First half saw Luton take the lead with two goals

Eagles managed to keep their heads up and clawed a goal back from a great strike from Joe who nearly netted a second from near the half way mark

Again Rian, Lewis, Gorege, Max M, Max C, Jacob, Xander, Harry, Josh, Joe, Calum, Tobin and Rhys where all outstanding today

Eagles played the better football today and each week show improvement, some decisions didn’t go our way today, the lads never let this bother them and showed this when Jacob fought back after being studded down one leg and Harry keeping his cool when Luton started to throw toys out the Pram again.

Eagles created some great chances and only with the help of the wind did they managed to just go wide

Rhys didn’t look out of place today in goal and made some fine saves

Delightful Defence worked well blocking and tackling anything that came into their area

Mighty Midfield fantastic passing and working well as a team

Awesome Attack kept it alive seeking the crosses out and keeping pressure on Luton throughout

Today’s MOM

Rhys

Thanks to Brian for running the line

The one thing I wish to praise is that what the coaches Phil, Nick and Lewis have drilled into the team about respect that’s something at times means more than winning and today was that day

Each and everyone of the team demonstrated that today and I know how proud the parents are of this behavior from the lads and thanks to the Coaches for this.

Result 1-2
