With thing starting off poorly with certain lads not turning up for the game we only had 13 players which was including our Assistant Ryan Thompson.

But the lads that did show up knew it was going to be a very tough battle against current leaders Hundred Acre. Manager Gary King was making sure everyone knew how important it was to give 110% today.

The game started off with a few tasty tackles on a wet slick pitch and quite a few long balls from both sides testing out the defences, but both were very good and we knew it was going to be a close game.

They were the team creating chances early, with their striker curling a shot towards the top corner for Lee to tip it over. A few crosses were near,y met by runners into the box but it stayed 0-0.

The best 3 blocks of the game were In a row with all of the back 3 each blocking a shot before Reece eventually clearing.

All sportsman players were working exceptionally hard, and the quality was becoming more apparent with a Ryan and Jordan winning the battles in midfield.

The ball was played out wide to Richard who played a looping ball into the box and Ryan day was pushed over in the box but the referee didn't award a clear penalty.

Late into the second half we created 2 good chances with a nice bit of play out from the back into the midfield of Jordan and Ryan, where Jordan then played Ross through on goal 1 on 1 vs the keeper but missed the goal completely.

Jordan had a chance from 25 yards out with the ball just going over the bar.

Seconds half we were on top but there were too many nearly moments with through balls.

We got a free kick not too far out where Jordan hit the wall but the ball fell back to him and he curled it towards the top corner to only hit the top of the bar.

With less than 5 minutes remaining the ball played forward by Jay and a Duane flicked the ball on for Russell who ran through 1 on 1 and slotted into the corner to win the game.
