<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The first goal of the campaign wasn&rsquo;t long in the waiting when debutant Cameron Smith fired in a free kick after only three minutes, after a foul on Luke Hitchman. Lakeside&rsquo;s continued movement and short passing resulted in Cameron Smith putting Simon Brady through, who made no mistake with a tidy finish to open his seasons scoring account.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Lakeside chances were coming thick and fast and on the twenty-seventh minute Luke Hitchman&rsquo;s quality ball was picked up by Cameron Smith, who calmly slotted past the keeper to put Lakeside further ahead.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Siddington were given a lifeline when winning and dispatching a free kick from the edge of the area on the stroke of half time.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Second half domination, along with the introductions of Elliot Harris, Freddie Wellfair and Ben Simpson insured Lakeside went home with all three points after a well earned 3-1 victory.
