The Hawks welcomed Sandhurst Utd Rangers to a very wet and soggy Jubilee field. The Hawks again started fast and led within minutes , Jake escaped in the box and laid the ball across the goal for strike partner Michael " Tupac" Donaghy to smash in. Almost straight from KO the lead was doubled as a tenacious Bobby teed up Michael 2-0!

The Hawks were stretching the 10 men of Sandhurst to the max with both wingers involved early. Bobby hitting the post from long range from the left and then Jacob's crossfield ball from the right setting Michael free, only to see him shoot wide. Michael then flashed a header wide from Bobby's cross but the Hawks were not to be denied for long, Jake collecting a poor Sandhurst goal kick and sending it straight back over the keepers head for 3-0 . Sandhurst then rallied and scored 2 quickfire goals as the Hawks back line dozed. Nerves were settled as Jake danced his way in to make it 4-2 but the Hawks were indebted to keeper Harry R as he made a superb flying save to keep the 2 goal cushion intact. On the stroke of half time Jake scored the goal of the game, smashing into the top corner with his left foot after a mazy run. 5-2 to the Hawks at HT.

The 2nd half proved to be a procession for the Hawks as they samshed in a further 6 goals without reply. Regular substitutions affected the flow for the Hawks as they cruised home . Bobby netted after a long run down the left, nudging home form the keeper's grasp after he spilled Bobby's initial strike. Ewan and Jacob continued to stretch the game wide and Taylor made it 7-2 after a cross from the right and added another soon after a run from deep. 8-2 Hawks. Riley and Jack C were now running the midfield , and Michael made it 9-2 running onto Jack's through ball and chipping the keeper. Riley then played in Michael for his 4th and the Hawk's 10th. The rout was finally completed as Jack Clarke ran from deep and found the corner of the net.11-2 Hawks

Tougher tests await for the Hawks ,as although they scored 11 today ,many easy chances were squandered. Defenders Chris, Tommy, Harry A and Jasan were rarely tested but did their jobs on a very slippery pitch, although more talking is required between them ! Harry R dealt with his few touches well and is proving a very reassuring sweeper keeper behind the defence. Riley is anchoring midfield well and adapting well to multiple partners in crime as subs come and go. The real strength in the Hawks start continues to be the pace they have to burn in striking and wide posiions, which teams can't contain. However more composure will be required in front of goal against better teams. With home games to come in the both of the next 2 weeks hopes are high for more goals !!
