Match Report - Brandlesholme WARRIORS U13S WHITES - 27 Jan 2018

This game had been switched to our pitch as the opponents was waterlogged. Brandlesholme wer bottom of the league losing all of their games but their recent results had improved and they startedwell causing us a few problems in defence. As always we created lots of chances but just couldn’t put them away.

The conditions were terrible and we were struggling to get past there colossal defender. Anyway we went 0-1 down with some dreadful defending with the whole of our defence making mistakes. The half had been OK and Jake was having another good game supported my Sonny in the middle of the park.

We spoke to the lads at half time with either a motivational speech or a kick up the bum and it seemed to do the trick as we equalised early on with a great pass from Joe Coyle who was having a great game in the right wing back role. Joe played a great pass to Luke whose sweaty cross was side footed in calmly by Max.

Soon after it was 2-1 as we took control of the game this came following so really energetic work from Will keeping the ball in playing a pass to Max whose lovely pass was drilled home from Joe Coyle.

The conditions were getting worse but we still continued to play our football. KLeiran was having a great game very composed and attacking well too. It was 3-1 when Lukas played a a great 1 – 2 with Harry Edwards who slotted in a great goal. A good second half performance followed by another weak 1st half.
