Engine FC 1 vs 1 W.D.Long Itchington

<p class="MsoNormal">I wrote a massive report and then my machine crashed ! FFS

<p class="MsoNormal">I don&rsquo;t have time to re write it ! So , highlights !

&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal">We had the better of them first half, they had the better second half.

<p class="MsoNormal">5-4-1 works in terms of stopping us being routed early

<p class="MsoNormal">We gave away to many freekicks.....

<p class="MsoNormal">There manager was dodgy with the flag at the end

<p class="MsoNormal">1-1 was a fair result

<p class="MsoNormal">We could have won it at the end, but then again they hit post/bar and had one cleared off line, at times we rode our luck (first time weve had luck with us this season!)

<p class="MsoNormal">They were 3rd in the league so a points great really

<p class="MsoNormal">We looked knackered second half on boggy pitch. All players are welcome to Tuesday night footy to improve fitness.

<p class="MsoNormal">We need to be better and playing short passes and keeping ball. We gave the ball away too much second half.

<p class="MsoNormal">Defence were solid. Midfield ran hard and played well in general.

<p class="MsoNormal">Next week I will tell the team who takes corners and freekicks depending on where we are in the park.

<p class="MsoNormal">We need to make sure when defending corners that posts are covered and we "height match"&nbsp;

&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal">Overall great team effort, cant fault the effort !
