A tough opener in division 2 v termonfeckin Celtic at Flomax park, we didn’t begin the game how we would have liked, due to the slow start we found ourselves 2-0 down and chasing the game; some poor passing dragged us out of shape, this was ten followed
By poor positional play allowing the opponents run directly through the center of the pitch into an ocean of space allowing the opponents open the scoring and put us 1-0 down
Unfortunately this didn’t wake us up, we passed side ways and backwards and that was to our detriment as it invited the press from the opponents; due to their press and us refusing to pass forward the opponents seized on our sloppiness and punished us with 2 early goals.
Soon after we joined the gamed we started hunting in packs, winning possession high up the pitch and passing forward early to our forward players, it was this good play that freed Ethan on the right wing and he destroyed the termonfeckin defence before
Unleashing an unstoppable drive into the far corner of the net to reduce the deficit on the stroke of half time.
The 2nd half begun as the 1st had ended with us controlling the tempo and dictating possession we creating chances through Remy and Foster and then Ethan but we were unable to draw level.
Loads of positives to take from the game and loads to improve on if we want to take anything from our next league game away to Trim Celtic.
