A game that we knew Altrincham would want revenge after a previous 9-1 for the boys.
Egerton started brightly going 2 goal up inside 4 mins with Jenson and Jaxon combining well in midfield. Jaxon with a great low cross followed by Wilf poking the ball home. 2nd goal followed with Joe Hunt also scoring a tap in after some good wing play. Altrincham then scored 2 goals before the 15 minute mark and were in control for the most of the 2nd half.
2-2 Half time
The second half was a much better performance from the boys. Jaxon was bought down in the box and Harry smashed home the resulting penalty with a low hard shot close to the keeper who had no chance. Wilf was then bought down minutes later and stepped up and smashed the ball past the keeper, top right hand corner. No chance to save it.
Archie Henderson added to the goals with a great left footed curling shot from outside the box soon followed by Jaxon with great work down the right wing and scoring off the post.
Harry scored his 2nd of the match with a fantastic run from left midfield, taking on 3 players and casually passing the ball home - a very Thierry Henry-esque finish. Great finish.
7-3 to the boys.
