Garsington a premier league side from the Oxford senior league a tough challenge we struggled to get hold of the ball from the get go due to some fantastic passing and movement from a strong well drilled side.
We soon went 1-0 down when garsingtons forward player nicked the ball from Craig absloms toe to put the ball in the top right hand corner #bins.
East did not let there heads drop batteling for every ball with Ryan poweell and Rambo defending exceptionally well at the back with the energy from Dan fenn in the centre of the park.
Shortly after a long goal kick from Keith Bruce found the head of Tom Smith who flicked it on to the run of James Bruce who out run the defence to lob the keeper only to find the post.
A game where East was under a lot of pressure but holding well finding the odd counter attack this lasted a majority of the game until Garsington broke down East once more late In the second half with a long ball over our back line for there front man to slip in the bottom left corner Game over?
Far from this, East once again never giving up a corner comes in James Bruce rises above to head over, another cross is delivered by mihai tinei finding James once again putting the ball in the back of the net but offside.
East kept pushing not letting there opponents get the better of them a great team play goal ended with mihai dummying a pass through to Tyler Lawson who squared the ball back to Andy pantry to slot home from around 18 yards.
Game ends 2-1 to Garsington but fantastic for fitness and East Oxford once again show great character.
