George Brades 3 vs 0 Darlaston Athletic

<p>The five week lay off left us looking limp and lack lustre as we surrendered three goals without reply and conceded a passage into the next round for revitalised George Brades, an outfit we had completed a league double against . The hectic festive period, the wet weather and a poor training turnout prior to that has took its toll on our fitness and Breades gave us a first half runaround in that respect . On the positive side we had easily the bulk of possession second half and we missed a hatful of chances throughout the game . The 3 they did put away were there only obvious opportunities , Jake gathering easily anything else they had to offer . Colin , Toony, Rick,Tom and Squizz all had chances to score but it was not to be . Whilst winning is obviously the preferred option , at &pound;60 each game expenses, it is better to go out early if you ay gonna win it I suppose , so better to focus on this Prem1 cup coming up next week . An outstanding display from Luke Charlton by the way .
