On 22 November 2025, DABOYSFC welcomed Reds Xi FC to Eldorado Park Extension 6 for a 10:00am kick-off in a high-scoring tournament home match. The hosts emerged emphatic 6-2 victors after a pulsating 90 minutes plus added time, thrilling the 75-strong crowd with a display of attacking football and defensive resilience.

DABOYSFC lined up in a classic 4-3-3 formation, deploying Kashwin Obermeyer in goal to marshal the backline. The defensive quartet consisted of Ridwaan Rubidge at right back, Tyson Bowers and Alanzo McKenzie as central defenders, and Reese Mathee covering the left flank. In midfield, Warren Meyers took up the right midfield berth, Neillan Abrahams operated centrally, and Nazeem Ely occupied the left midfield position. The front three featured Nathaniel Ferguson on the right wing, Raeez Rubidge leading the line as striker, and Leevin Zacheus on the left forward role. The substitutes named were Suhail De Koker, Le-jaun Van Schoor, Riaz Rubidge, and Jaden Gentle.

From the outset, DABOYSFC showed intent, with Reese Mathee delivering a pinpoint corner in the seventh minute that found Leevin Zacheus rising highest to power a close-range header into the net. This early goal set the tone for the hosts, who controlled possession and pressed Reds Xi FC relentlessly.

The visitors received a yellow card in the 19th minute for offensive language or gestures, indicating rising tensions on the pitch. DABOYSFC extended their lead in the 34th minute when Raeez Rubidge expertly curled a direct free-kick beyond the goalkeeper, doubling the advantage and rewarding the home side’s attacking pressure.

Reds Xi FC pulled one back just before half-time in the 38th minute, reducing the deficit and injecting some hope for a comeback. The first half concluded with DABOYSFC leading 2-1.

At the interval, DABOYSFC made a tactical substitution, replacing right midfielder Warren Meyers with Suhail De Koker to inject fresh legs and maintain midfield dominance.

Early in the second half, Alanzo McKenzie rose to the occasion, scoring in the 52nd minute to restore a two-goal cushion. His contribution from central defence underlined the team’s threat on set pieces and added a layer of security at the back.

The match grew more physical as Raeez Rubidge was booked in the 68th minute for unsporting behaviour, prompting his substitution a minute later for Le-jaun Van Schoor. The defensive discipline of DABOYSFC was tested further when Tyson Bowers received a yellow card in the 73rd minute, followed by goalkeeper Kashwin Obermeyer also being cautioned a minute later.

In the 76th minute, Leevin Zacheus made way for Riaz Rubidge, who wasted no time in making an impact by scoring in the 77th minute, further stretching the lead. Just two minutes later, Nathaniel Ferguson added his name to the scoresheet with a goal assisted by the returning Leevin Zacheus, who had been influential throughout the match.

Reds Xi FC managed to score again in the 87th minute, but it was too little too late as DABOYSFC maintained control. Near the end of the contest, Nazeem Ely was substituted off for Jaden Gentle in the 89th minute, allowing fresh legs to see out the game.

In stoppage time, Riaz Rubidge capped off the scoring with a goal in the 93rd minute, assisted by Nathaniel Ferguson, sealing a comprehensive 6-2 victory for DABOYSFC.

Leevin Zacheus was deservedly named player of the match for his early goal, creative influence, and overall contribution to the team’s attacking prowess. DABOYSFC’s blend of solid defence, midfield control, and clinical finishing ensured a memorable win over Reds Xi FC on home soil.
