More points dropped but the boys battled for it throughout. The Second Team came into the game looking to pick up 3 more points after a draw and a win in the last two games but things didn't get off to the best of starts, falling behind within the opening few minutes. From then on, The boys were chasing the game but never gave up, and soon equalised through a strike from the edge of area from Carl Williams. The boys were playing good passing football but struggled at times to create pressure going forward during the first half as the half finished 1-1. The boys again started slow, as they found themselves 2-1 down a few minutes into the second half. After falling behind, The boys dominated the game. Forcing Rogerstone to defend with 11 men behind the ball and defend in their own 6 yard box at times. The boys continued to go close with Tyler Kellow hitting the crossbar from inside the area and a Matthew Verren free-kick going narrowly wide. The boys eventually found a way through as Matthew Ricketts followed up a rebounded shot to level the score. After failing to get hold of the ball and some sloppy play, the boys were soon 3-2 behind. However, the second team was able to salvage a point thanks to a deep curling free-kick from the left-hand side by Stuart Flagg to make it 3-3 in the dying minutes of the game, where it eventually finished. Special mentions go out to Stuart Flagg and Matthew Verren who have built up a formidable partnership in the midfield and Korri Porretta-Poole who was a rock at the back and caused problems when pushing forward.
