Home league match
wo double figure fixtures in a row for the boys which keeps them dreaming of a league title and promotion with this one being even sweeter than the last. After the previous result two weeks ago, the boys came into the game firmly believing that they could score whenever they moved forward and the scoreline may suggest they did. Two early goals from Luke Upham set the boys on their way, which probably helped to set the standard for goals as the game was filled with a number of goal of the season contenders. Callum Joseph Short scored a fantastic free-kick from 35+ yards out which looks to be one of the front runners for goal of the season. More goals followed through Calam Waters scored 4 himself in this game along with Luke Upham adding 4 in total himself. The boys showed just how much quality they bring with the standard of goals going in. You could see the boys were threatening to score almost every time they moved forward and things were beginning to win up the Riverside players, which gave our boys chances to punish from set-peices, and the boys didn't dissapoint, scoring multiple free-kicks in the game. Joshua Codd came off the bench and added two himself before Adam Howells added one as the Riverside keeper had pushed forward for a corner. Overall, this was viewed as a fantastic team performance with a very positive look on it and the rest of the season.
