Away cup match

A top performance and a first clean sheet of the season to progress to the next round of the Senior Bowl. The boys continued their recent form in their recent change in formation with an emphatic win and performance in all areas of the pitch, scoring four goals on both sides of the break and being solid at the back to match. The game had a slightly even start but the boys soon found their feet playing good passing football and showing their quality with it. The quality to find a killer pass in the final third proved the difference for the boys as they continued to find the strikers of Nathan Howells and Calam Waters all afternoon for a number of chances. The boys got goals from a number of ways, providing threats from set peices, direct route one passes and great built up passing football. They go onto the next round of the Senior Bowl after making a heavy statement for their intentions for the competition. All players had a collectively solid game, but special mentions to Callum Joseph Short who again orchestrated things from the back, Lee Thompson who played out of his skin down the right hand side in his first start for the first team this season and Adam Howells, who is continuing to make a difference at both defending and attacking.
