Sun shining, grass freshly cut, boys all smiles and another 9 a side performance to be proud of!

A bright start from the Spartans on the noticeably large pitch saw SHABYTAH put the boys in white 1-0 up. So much possession was great to see today and the space did open up on occasions. KEYTE, LEE and FLAVIN were the backline today and were good value for the clean sheet in the first half. On the rare occasion CS attacked the lads were solid and turned possession over for a Spartans attack. A penalty awarded from a fairly obvious handball gave BASSETT the chance to double the lead however the post had other ideas. The result was never in danger today as the Spartans looked to control the game in every area. BARNETT had the look of complete shock when he was added to the team as a striker but quickly got over that and finished incredibly well with a low driven shot across the helpless CS keeper. More pressure followed and KASZUBA who is thriving from the bigger pitches took an excellent finish to put the match out of reach! Lots of short passes were great in the midfield area with BASSETT the centre of most attacking play, BARNETT had the taste for goals after his first finish and took his second even better with an identical strike to make it 4-0. DAITZ once again is so effective in every game he plays with driving runs and key passes in behind the opponents back line. Tiredness did effect us along with an injury to MAY who to his credit came back from a knee niggle to play a strong final quarter. HOLLAND has extended his clean sheet run to 60 minutes and also had a silky run and shot in his cameo as a striker! DAVIE had a rare morning of no goals but his partnership with KASZUBA will be a formidable one for many defences to face in the coming months. A final goal for the Spartans scored by KEYTE was a well deserved one to cap off a great performance. TUCKETT unlucky with the final goals for CS as a renpind fell kindly to the number 10 who in fairness was class all game. A special mention to Alexander who was once again in fine form, great in possession, brilliant defensive work and confidence sky high at the minute ??

STAR MAN

NIKO KASZUBA, starting to see the best from this talented young man! Pace, strength and skill all in show today! Top effort and well deserved star man ?????
