Woodside 0 - 2 Cowie Thistle
Cowie bounced back from Saturdays disappointing defeat by winning away at Woodside tonight.
With a change of formation, Cowie looked up for it from the start, however Jarvie made an excellent one handed save after 10 minutes when Woodside broke up the park.
Cowie took the lead after 17 minutes when another great ball in Badger was met by SALMOND and he headed in from close range.
Cowie were first to every ball and creating further chances and doubled the lead when a ball across by Buck was met at the back post by BADGER who beat his man to the header at the back post to finish. Toot toot!
Woodside came back into the game 2nd half and created a few chances and Jarvie made another 3 excellent saves but Cowie were creating chances themselves, Bucm having a goal disallowed for offside and Salmond being denied when through by the keeperband the defence held firm for the final 10 despite the tired legs.
