Back to back 5-0 wins for Cowie as they secured their place in the next round of the Scottish Cup with, in the end, a comfortable victory over Rattrays.
Pitch conditions at Sheddocksley were unsurprisingly poor and it meant there was very little football on show from either side until Cowie took the lead in the 25th minute when Salmond controlled a long ball and McDONALD finished first time from the edge of the box.
Cowie had a couple more half chances in the first half but couldn't add to the score but it only took 3 minutes after the restart to make it 2-0 when LOVICK was played through and he beat the defender and chipped over the advancing keeper.
3-0 came in the 60th minute when DUGUIDs free kick found the bottom corner and 10 minutes later it was 4-0 when a great cross from Badger found LOVICK to head into the empty net.
Final goal came in the 78th minute from another free-kick, this time BADGER curling over the wall leaving the keeper no chance.
A convincing 2nd half performance, with many more chances created but not taken, good to see the subs making an impact when coming on and yet another clean sheet for the back 3 and keeper.
