Kincorth 2 - 1 Cowie Thistle
Cowie came up short again today in the NOS semi final as a solid defensive display seen Kincorth through.
Kincorth started better and Cowie took the lead against the run of play in the 10th minute when McDONALD charged down a clearance and finished past the keeper.
Cowie couldn't hold onto the lead though as often is the case in these big games and Kincorth equalised on 20 minutes when the winger scored a soft goal from outside the box
Chances were limited as usual in games between the 2 teams and into the 2nd half Kincorth scored what proved to be the winner in the 50th minute when poor defensive play let the striker in and he finished high past Stu.
Kincorth were reduced to 10 men shortly after a load of off the ball incidents, both teams lucky not to have more sent off.
From there Cowie should've taken the initiative but in the remaining 30 minutes we really only created one clear cut chance as Salmond missed a header and despite the Cowie pressure Kincorth held on to make the final.
