Insch 1 - 4 Cowie Thistle
Cowie finished their season today with what turned out to be another comfortable league victory despite the lack of bodies and many hungover players!
Cowie had a few early chances but Insch actually took the lead with their first attack in 15 minutes the striker flicking in from a corner.
It wasnt 1-0 for long though as Cowie went straight up the park and equalised when CRAN finished after a shot was blocked.
The rest of the half was Cowie missing chances as Insch threatened briefly with set-pieces but still 1-1 at HT.
Cowie took the lead in 60 minutes as a penalty was awarded for a push on McDonald and BADGER stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way.
The game was finished in the 69th minute when McCombie won the ball in midfield and the through ball fell to McDONALD, he expertly shot into the ground and the ball bounced over the keeper into the net.
Cowie could've scored another 5 or 6 with great chances but the scoring was finished in the 85th minute when Badger found SALMOND, he took a touch in the box and curled into the bottom corner.
Since September we've gone 16 league games unbeaten and this win means we finish 2nd in the table with 60 points.
