Cowie returned to league action today and took apart Insch in a dominant display, first half especially, with some great football and goals.
Cowie took the lead in the 11th minute when Irv flicked the ball on and R COZZY ran through and gave the keeper no chance with a shot into the top corner.
5 minutes later it was 2-0 as NICOLL cut inside from the right after a Lovick pass and again gave the keeper no chance.
3-0 came in the 23rd minute when a long throw from Watson was flicked on by LOVICK looking for a team mate but the ball looped straight in at the back post and it was soon 4-0 when a corner from Cran was headed home by IRV at the back post.
Final goal of the first half was in the 35th minute as a through ball from Valentine found R COZZY and he rounded the keeper and finished into the empty net.
The 2nd half wasnt even 5 minutes in when Cowie made it 6-0, a cross, or maybe shot, from Cran was slid in at the back post by R COZZY for his hat trick.
Insch got a consolation goal in 65 minutes when the striker finished the rebound after Jarvie saved the initial shot from the edge of the box.
Cowie went straight up the park and completed the scoring for 7-1 when a cross from Irv was finished on the volley at the back post by GAZELLE.
A comfortable victory, making it 8 wins in the last 10 games going into the Scottish Cup game next week in Kinross.
