Cowie Thistle 5 - 0 Beacon Rangers
Cowie made it 6 wins out of 7 in the league with another straight forward victory over Beacon today.
Taking the lead in the 2nd minute when McDONALD finished after Lovicks header had been stopped on the line, Cowie were 3-0 up by the 20th minute when first SALMOND scored with a header from Crans long throw and then LOVICK flicked in from a Buck cross.
The game was already over and became a bit scrappy as Beacon went to damage limitation and Cowie were happy to restrict them to very few chances but Cowies final third play became poor as they passed up continuos good opportunities.
Cowie did get another in the 70th minute when TJ played through McDONALD and he shot low into the corner.
The scoring was complete in the 86th minute when CRAN scored from 30 yards past the keeper after good work from Young who impressed when he came on early for the injured Buck.
Another clean sheet and 3 points, achieved with ease today, next week its the first cup game of the season with a difficult tie away to Rattrays in the Scottish Cup 1st Round.
