First gamw back and first win regardless ot was a friendly it was against a team that we will be playing in our league.
We started the game well and had a few missed opportunities and with an assist from me ??????? opposition took the lead from a corner kick! 1-0
The half ended like that, second half was pretty much same thing we bossed the game like in the first half but this time we took our chances, and when Liam played Jake through with a great pass he ran from the half way line and finished in fine style 1-1 we soon took the lead when Jake got the lose ball from the corner kick and shot bottom right of thr keeper for his second 3rd soon followed when Liam who was on fire played a fantastic little one two with Lucas and put the ball through the keepes legs to make it 1-3! We was rewarded with a last minute penalty but Lucas stepped up and keeper saved well to his right.
Final score 1-3
I'm really happy we got this friendly game today we really believe games so important for the boys at this stage for their fitness and the understanding of the game.
MOTM- Liam after an average performance he really stepped up second half and run the game scored a fantastic goal and a great assist.
Looking forward to a tougher game next Thursday v Willingham wolves.
